Pomì

Grown trees 1850

Cool by Nature.

Pomì tomato was born in 1982 in the province of Parma and immediately became an icon thanks to its innovative packaging. Synonymous with short supply chain, Italianness, traceability of the tomatoes, sustainability of the production and processing processes, the company is not only attentive to the safety of its consumers, but is also respectful of the environment by monitoring all stages of processing – tomato cultivation, harvesting, delivery and processing – with a responsible approach to the territory.

One of Pomì’s primary objectives is to restore value to the environment and society, containing and mitigating the environmental impact of production activities, promoting a culture of sustainability to deliver a better world to future generations, protecting the land and fostering biodiversity.

Pomì has decided to join WOWnature’s reforestation project by taking direct action to protect the area of San Colombano (MN) and Maria Luigia Island (CR) with the planting of a total of 1,050 new trees.

Always in the front line for the defence and enhancement of environmental, social and economic sustainability, the company has a very close bond with the territory in which it operates. In fact, many of the company’s farmer-members live and grow Pomì tomatoes between the provinces of Cremona and Mantua, and are involved in initiatives for innovation, entrepreneurship and enhancing the value of their territory.

Being sustainable for Pomì is not just a slogan but a concrete, daily commitment. A philosophy that the company has been pursuing for over 40 years to make the territories near its crops even healthier, greener and safer, and to contribute to an increasingly eco-sustainable future.
