NextEnergy Foundation is an international charity founded in 2016. Our mission is to proactively participate in the global effort to reduce poverty through access to renewable energy that also reduces carbon emissions.

The NextEnergy Foundation has a presence in 26 countries and supports organizations with projects aligned with 15 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The Foundation’s Board of Directors is also acutely aware of the need to respond to some of the most pressing socio-economic problems that fall outside of the institution’s mission; these include the COVID-19 pandemic from 2020, rising energy poverty levels from 2021, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict from 2022.
