Events at the Torbiere del Sebino: come plant your trees

On October 5, WOWnature is organizing an event to plant new trees and help restore the forests within the Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve. Participate and regenerate an endangered ecosystem, among the most precious in Lombardy in terms of biodiversity. Adopt a tree and come plant it with the people you care about.

Adopt a tree in Torbiere del Sebino

Adopting a tree to grow at the Torbiere del Sebino is a gesture to help protect a valuable ecosystem. Peatlands are wetlands rich in biodiversity and play a crucial role in climate regulation due to their ability to store carbon. By planting a tree in this area, you help preserve the habitat of numerous plant and animal species while reducing CO2 emissions. You also participate in an environmental regeneration project that fosters the resilience of local ecosystems and promotes sustainable land management.

How to adopt a tree

On our website, you can adopt a tree in just a few clicks. Go to the page dedicated to the Torbiere del Sebino and choose which tree to plant from the 10 species still available. You can also gift a tree to anyone you want and share the experience of planting it together. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, October 5 in Iseo to plant the adopted trees.
