CIMAS traces its roots back to 1840, when founder Giuseppe Laurenzi started a craft workshop in the heart of the Umbrian countryside, dedicated to designing equipment for agriculture. Today, after nearly two centuries of history, Cimas is an international reference company in the design and manufacture of turnkey feed and storage equipment. With two production units, one in Perugia, Italy, and the other in Bizerte, Tunisia, CIMAS continues to combine innovation and tradition, pursuing a vision that focuses on quality, sustainability and technological progress.

Our vocation for excellence is reflected in our ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, which testify to our ongoing commitment to ensuring quality and sustainability at every stage of the production process. Thanks to an ambitious energy transition project, the photovoltaic system installed at our Perugia headquarters covers 100 percent of the company’s energy needs, enabling us to operate with a significantly reduced environmental impact.

Our machinery embodies the philosophy of eco-design, a modular design that minimizes energy consumption and ensures ease of maintenance and replacement of components, thus reducing waste. These features, combined with know-how gained over decades in the business, enable us to offer innovative and fully customized solutions for our customers, always with a focus on sustainability.
