A campus that becomes a climate refuge! We are excited to share our first project in Catalonia as part of the Uforest project: we are transforming the campus of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona into an oasis of biodiversity and climate resilience. With the support of partners CREAF and Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, we planted 80 native Mediterranean trees and shrubs, creating a shelter that counteracts heat waves and improves the local ecosystem. Thanks to the students and all the partners who participated enthusiastically: together we are creating a new urban forest!
