The seeds have an aril, that is, the outer part around the seed, which is red and juicy.

In addition to the traditional juice, from the pomegranate we can obtain a sweet syrup, grenadine, mainly used in the preparation of cocktails. Its properties make it widely used in the cosmetics industry for the preparation of anti-aging creams and body lotions.
