Updates from Arte Sella | September 2024
How do we measure how much trees grow? In this short video we tell you how the seedlings we planted in Val di Sella are doing after five years and how we check their growth.
In September 2024, we held a tree-planting event in Arte Sella, where we assessed the health and growth of the trees we had planted in previous years.
In the Sella Valley, we are actively working to help the forests recover more quickly from the damage caused by Storm Vaia and the spread of the bark beetle. This pest is affecting many areas of the Alps and leading to the death of numerous fir trees. To promote biodiversity and enhance the resilience of the forest, we are planting a variety of tree species.
In a short video, Jacopo discusses what we have accomplished in these first five years and explains how we measure the growth of the seedlings.
