Updates from the Parco Lombardo della Valle del Ticino | October 2024
We planted another 200 new trees in the Parco Lombardo della Valle del Ticino and went to check how the seedlings we planted in 2023 are doing. In this short video we tell you about the progress of the project.
On October 19, we organized our third tree-planting event at the Parco Lombardo del Ticino. Together with local companies, community members, and a newlywed couple who chose to donate adopted trees as wedding favors, we planted over 200 trees.
Last year, a storm damaged many mature trees in the park, so we are planting new seedlings shielded with protective shelters to prevent animal harm. We are grateful for the park authority’s support, which allows us to monitor the health of the trees planted in 2023.
We are pleased to report that nearly all the seedlings have survived and are growing well. We plan to continue planting new trees in the park. If you’d like to support the project, you can adopt or donate a tree to the Parco Lombardo della Valle del Ticino.
