The forests we created and improved

Le Basse del Brenta

Italy
Cartigliano (VI)

In the municipality of Cartigliano, the industries are located near the waterway and is bordered by meadows and wooded patches with great potential.

The Brenta River area is not just a place we like to hang out in in our free time, for a dive or a walk, but it is a relevant resource for industry and agriculture. In the municipality of Cartigliano, the industries are located near the waterway and is bordered by meadows and wooded patches with great potential. The expert eye of our forest managers immediately glimpsed the possibility of creating a multifunctional forest in continuity with the Parco Fiume Brenta area.

We want to devote special attention to what will be the “Le Basse del Brenta” through various interventions, aimed at acting as a buffer with factories, and improving air and water quality. Our intervention, will not be limited to planting new trees, but we will enrich several hectares of meadows, to border with a hedge of local shrubs.Last but not least, to better enjoy the area, popular among runners and nature lovers, we will build new trails and also map the area in new info panels. With your help, we will plant nearly 5,000 new trees and shrubs that will keep company with those already on the land. Help us bring a new forest to life!

Next tree planting are scheduled for 2023.
